Collecting Ebenezers as I travel through life.
"Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us.” 1 Samuel 7:12
Life happened again and so there isn't a post for today. Maybe someday I will tell my tales of the last week, but for now I just leave you with this picture signifying the loss of the presence on this earth of loved ones.
I have experienced this much too recently and I am so, so sorry to hear that you have, too. It is painful, no matter how the connexion. :( I wish you a spirit of comfort.
And if I am misunderstanding the post entirely and you HAVEN'T lost a loved one, I rejoice that much more! (I guess either way I will feel embarrassed, now! But no matter what . . I wish you well!)
No, Jinxie, no need to be embarrassed. My loss was 2 1/2 years ago, but it still feels very recent. I am so sorry to hear that you have lossed someone recently. It is painful and I know how you feel.
I have written a clarification that will post on Friday explaining why I chose that picture on Wednesday.
